Waste of money. Like many other reviewers on Amazon, this product did not work for me at all. It arrived and felt cheaply made. The sensor hole is not properly aligned with the sensor.
Product needs quality control. I also bought two of this, and they do not work at all or one would work turning light on\off and then just stop functioning.
Dusk-to-dawn functionality works with incandescent bulbs, but you can't use energy efficient fluorescent bulbs with it (get really bad buzzing throughout home and light flickers).
I returned it. My 100W bulb seemed more like a 40W, which wasn't useful to me as far as providing night time safety. The sensor seemed to work fine as far as on at dusk and off at dawn. However, like others, I found that it significantly dimmed the bulb.
It is nice not having to worry about turning on and off the light, and knowing that we are wasting electricity during the day by having a light on. I have been using the light sensor for over a month now, and don't perceive any flicker, and it has been working reliably.
